Studio Kite built models of the interior and exterior of Rome's Colosseum and Constantine Arch for director Peter Cherry of Independent Films, Sydney. Built in sections at 1:12 scale and assembled in the studio, the model was then composited in post into the magnificent scenerey.
Studio Kite was given a loose brief to create a refinery with enough depth to fill a studio. Vast arrays of components were built with a collection of hero elements that could be dressed in camera. Studio Kite supplied the pysical effects as welll as the models.
The idea behind this TVC was to show certain parts of the body like the mouth, nose, brain and heart as industrial working areas and to illustrate that happens in each area when you eat a McDonalds burger. Studio Kite designed and made both the sets and the props for this TVC.
Directed By Paul Middleditch and produced by Plaza Films.
Studio Kite constructed all the miniature models and was responsible for the miniature special effects.
